Summer Bridge Academic Year CCR Participant

What is a Co-Curricular Record (CCR)? 

UC San Diego’s Co-Curricular Record (CCR) recognizes and documents students’ involvement and accomplishments beyond the classroom. Through the official CCR Transcript, students can view their verified experiences, including the position title, participation dates, a brief description, and associated Competencies—transferable skills developed through their involvement.

Career Development | Critical Thinking/Problem Solving | Leadership

CCR participation will be reviewed and approved at the end of the academic year once you have completed the required 30 hours.

SB AY CCR Requirements: 

Summer Bridge Punch Card 

Pick up a punch card at the OASIS front lobby before Week 2.  

Located: Center Hall, Third Floor

Go to 4 UCSD Workshops  

• What is a workshop?  
  • Workshops are similar to the Pathways workshops you attended during Summer Bridge. They are separate from social events and provide opportunities to learn, build skills, and engage in community.
  • Workshops will be offered at various locations across campus and will also be shared through the weekly SB Newsletter. 
• In-person  
  • Workshops must be attended in-person. To receive credit for your participation, please have your card signed by the campus partner facilitating the workshop
  • If you need an accommodation or support with this requirement, please reach out to Andre.
• Workshop Participation Etiquette 
  • Plan ahead and arrive on time for any events you RSVP for. 
  • Introduce yourself as a Summer Bridge (SB) student.  
  • Stay for the full workshop and wait until the end to have your punch card signed by the campus partner facilitating the session. 
• At the end of the quarter, you will receive a form to submit a photo of your completed punch card.

Peer-Led Success Circles (PLSCs) 

• Facilitated by Peer Navigators 
• Held biweekly beginning Week 2
• Your assigned PLSC location & meeting dates will be shared with you via your UCSD email.

SB Academic Year Events

• Participate in 2 intern events per quarter
• 6 hours total across Fall, Winter, and Spring Quarters
• Events may include community-building, professional development, leadership, and student engagement opportunities.
